Dr. Dan has stayed true to his Indiana roots and operates Wilson Veterinary Co. based out of the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Prior to founding Wilson Vet Co. in 2017, Dr. Dan attended Purdue University for his undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school Dr. Dan gained experience as the staff veterinarian and nutrition director for Rose Acre Farms. When not practicing poultry medicine Dan spends time with his wife, Erin, and two children Braeden and Josey. Dr. Dan established Wilson Vet. Co. to serve the needs of poultry producers who don’t have access to veterinary services.
Dr. Daniel Wilson
Founder/Lead Veterinarian
Practicing in Northwest Iowa, Dr. Mark grew up and now lives in the small town of Rock Valley. Mark completed undergraduate work at Dordt College and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation Dr. Mark now practices commercial poultry medicine with an emphasis on hands-on approaches during farm visits. His passion lies in getting into the field and helping train customer employees in all aspects of bird health and productivity. When not enjoying time with his dog Koda or family Mark enjoys fishing, hunting, and water-skiing.
Dr. Mark Mouw
Partner/Field Veterinarian
A southern Minnesota native, Dr. Michaela's passion for working with animals began on her family hobby farm, where they raised poultry, goats, and pigs for 4-H and food. Following her undergraduate in Animal Science at the University of Minnesota, Michaela went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently residing on a few acres near New Richland, MN, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, their dogs, Goose and Griffin, and tending to her beautiful gardens and houseplants.
Dr. Michaela Olson
Partner/Field Veterinarian
After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Poultry Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University, Dr. Mark chose to make North Carolina home to both work and raise a family. Mark has worn a variety of hats in the poultry industry including as an on-staff veterinarian for commercial turkeys, at the North Carolina Department of Agriculture Northwestern Diagnostic Lab as diagnostician, and as a technical manager for poultry in the pharmaceutical, vaccine, and nutritional feed additive industries. When not working with feathers, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Joyce, and their dogs, and spending time in the kitchen with their two adult sons, making memories and fantastic food.
Mark Blakley
Field Veterinarian
Growing up on a farm in Southeastern Indiana, animal welfare and agriculture are near and dear to Michaela’s heart. After graduating Purdue University with an Animal Sciences degree in 2017, she spent 5 years in research and development for the animal health industry gaining hands-on experience and technical skills across multiple food animal species including poultry. In her spare time, Michaela remains involved on the family farm with the beef feedlot and commercial meat goat operations. Aside from the farm, she also enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Reid, their dog, Sammy, and riding her horse Charlie.
Michaela Orme-Larowe
Veterinary Support Coordinator
Originally from Ridgecrest, California, Kayleigh moved with her family to Bloomington, Indiana, where she currently resides. She studied Spanish at the University of Indianapolis and used those skills in various support and management roles. Kayleigh is a busy mom of Kaidenn, Ahkianna, and Zephyr, and wife to her husband, Brad. When not working she enjoys cooking different ethnic foods and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
